Full of personal charm, the convertible Wirtaamo function venue, which was once a water flow laboratory hall, is an ideal setting for events of all sizes. Koskenranta caterers up to 1400 guests.

The multifaceted Koskenranta Wirtaamo ballroom offers countless options for the implementation of the event, from meetings to seated dinners, from summer parties to Christmas parties and various corporate events.

We at Koskenranta have excellent preparedness in terms of both furnishings and meeting technology. Our professional catering staff will take care of the food and drink service of your event with a secure grip even for a larger group. If necessary, the technology is taken care of by our own sound and visual technician.
If necessary, the two smaller rooms serves as a back stage space for speakers or performers, and the entrance hall can also be used on a small scale for the implementation of a lecture or information session.
Koskenranta has free parking for guests. There are also good bus connections to Koskenranta from Pasila railway station, Helsinki city centre and from Helsinki-Vantaa airport, buses stop at the Museum of Technology next door, there is a one-minute walk to the main door.

A versatile venue for festive events
The Wirtaamo event hall is a unique and individual setting for your event. This elegant, versatile factory milieu can accommodate a wide range of events from festive dinners to relaxed after-work cocktail parties. To make event arrangements as effortless as possible for guests, we help you plan your event in our premises. Just invite the guests, we will do the rest!
In addition to the full range of furnishings and a stage, Wirtaamo has up-to-date technical meeting equipment, with a sound and video technician at your service if needed. Festive lights have also been installed on the ceiling. The venue will be furnished in line with the content of your event and the two small meeting rooms can serve as backstage facilities.

Beutiful event venue with a scenic terrace
A large southbound terrace right on the edge of the rapids will be available to guests during the event. Part of the terrace is covered with an awning, which provides protection from the rain showers of a summer day or the scorching sun for those looking for shade.
The entrance to Koskenranta and the banquet hall is through the doors on the terrace and rapids side. The atmospheric vaulted lobby area welcomes guests with its lobby services and the space is also reserved for possible guest registration. For larger events, our lobby is available not only as lobby services, but also as a group work space or, for example, for the implementation of a small-scale information session or exhibition stand.
