The Koskenranta event centre is located in Vanhankaupunginkoski rapids, which is only seven kilometres from the centre of Helsinki. The former Imatran Voima Water Flow Laboratory has been transformed into a charming and inspiring meeting space for groups of many sizes and needs.
Koskenranta offers an excellent setting for meetings of up to 150-1400 guests. The large hall of Koskenranta can be divided into two or three parts with existing molton curtains, so it works well as a meeting room for groups of many sizes. The shareability of the space also enables, for example, the smooth implementation of small exhibition stands in connection with the meeting.

In order to make organising a meeting in Koskenranta as effortless as possible for the client, we have refined our meeting readiness and the entire event entity very far. Therefore as an organizer, you can focus on the content of the day itself and not worry about the technical matters of the day, for example. Koskenranta offers free parking for conference guests. There are also good bus connections to Koskenranta from Pasila raillway station, Helsinki city centre and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, buses stop at the neighbouring Museum of Technology, which is a minute’s walk from the main entrance.
A meeting room that surprises with its adaptability
The meeting room will be furnished to support the content of your seminar day, and smaller cabinets will serve as backstage spaces for speakers, if necessary. It is also possible to drive into the meeting room by car, which makes it possible to carry out car launch events. In addition to extensive furnishings and a stage, Koskenranta has meeting technology designed specifically for this space, which will be taken care of by an audio and video technician at your event, if necessary.

Our large, south-facing terrace by the rapids is available for conference guests during their stay. The magnificent rapids milieu offers a captivating setting for a conference day in all seasons, including the winter months. The large awning provides protection from a small rain shower and the scorching sun for those looking for shade.
