The event centre Koskenranta is situated on the banks of the Vanhankaupunginkoski rapids, just seven kilometres from central Helsinki. Formerly a water flow laboratory, this charming and inspiring meeting venue is suitable for groups of all sizes and various needs. The terrace by the rapids and the surrounding nature create a unique setting for meeting days, in a landscape and milieu rarely found so close to central Helsinki.
The Wirtaamo event hall is a versatile meeting venue for up to 800 guests and the premises all together up to 1400 guests. The Wirtaamo hall can be divided into two or three sections, using the existing molton curtains to provide a meeting facility for groups of different sizes. This also enables the easy installation of small exhibition stands.
Koskenranta has free parking space for guests. The centre is about a 10-minute drive from Helsinki Railway Station and 15-20 minutes from the airport. There are excellent bus connections from the airport and central Helsinki. The bus stop is a one-minute walk away from Koskenranta’s main entrance.

WIRTAAMO
A surprisingly versatile event venue
To make meeting arrangements as easy as possible for guests at Koskenranta, we offer furnishings and technical equipment that have been carefully refined on the basis of experience. In addition to the full range of furniture and a stage, Wirtaamo offers sufficient technical meeting equipment, with a sound and video technician at your service if needed. We will furnish the meeting venue to suit the contents of your seminar or meeting, and the two small rooms can serve as backstage facilities for the speakers. Wirtaamo is so spacious that you can even drive a car right into the event hall for events such as car launches.
Our professional staff will put their hearts and souls into providing catering services for your event. Koskenranta is licensed to serve alcohol (A-licence).
